This summer, Dow’s technology helped dress Meiji ice cream trucks as they go about providing much needed relief from the summer heat in Tokyo, Japan, as the city celebrated one-year-to-go to Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.


Dow is a Worldwide Partner and Official Chemistry Company of the Olympic Movement.


Adhesive signage for the trucks was produced by Dow’s customer Lintec Group Limited using Dow’s silicone coatings in the release paper. Typically disposed of after application, Lintec has also committed to re-using the release paper in the production of corrugated fibreboard boxes.
